Ian Miller was probably more important to my vision of the Warhammer worlds than John Blanche. Especially his black and white work for the RPG and its supplements when it first released.

WIP Progress on various things today. Armour and weapons are “done” on the Hags, but will likely need small touchups as I work on the other parts of them. The shrine and guardian will likely stall there for a bit though. #WarhammerCommunity

Now that I have built a box. Sprues are well organised, only 2 parts in odd places. Models were a mix of complexity to assemble. A few that have annoying alignment issues. It’s a very monopose kit, but the poses are dynamic enough to not cause a real problem. #WarhammerCommunity

Very impressed with these models so far. The sprue for this model had all the parts in one area! Next is building the other 39… #WarhammerCommunity

I hope so. Talked to my LGS, they sold out in 4 minutes. Hopefully they also get restocked in my country in short order, I’d like to get my Emperor’s Children playable in a few lists by 11th.

WIP Got the fast part done and now onto the fiddly part of all the trim. Once the armour is done I can get the cloth and flesh sorted. However, there’s no way I’m hitting the 100 minis goal, but at least I’ve made good progress on things again and am back into painting. #WarhammerCommunity

I know there are 2.6k views on the video, but why? I appreciate a battle report, but I don't understand why you want to sit through 3 hours of a game vs an hour of a battle report with all the movement and rules checks etc cut out.

I did actually do some painting today, but it’s the annoying step of putting the black base coat on the Striking Scorpions which just doesn’t show up in pictures. But progress was made.

It’s still a WIP :) All I got done as I got inspired for a non-miniatures project and had to strike while that iron was hot.

I think why I don’t like this is it reads to me as Khorne-lite. It’s a problem the Khaine-cult has always had. They need to become Witches of Morathi (shadows and serpents) and get more stuff to lean into the Arena. (Hydra and chariots) #warhammercommunity

WIP The greens were a really subtle step, that a single photo struggles to catch. But going over them again and adding controlled highlights just makes a more consistent look. Hopefully will finish tomorrow. #warhammmercommunity
