My baseball team needs a lot of help and there’s nobody to give it to them

Here's something crazy: the Rockies averaged 4.5 runs per game *at Coors Field*. MLB teams *as a whole* averaged 4.45 runs per game. The Rockies, playing half of their games in the most hitter-friendly park in modern history, barely scratched the *average* run scoring in a pitcher-dominated year.

I know the final win-loss record doesn't quite agree, but I'll confidently say that these 2025 Rockies are the worst baseball team of the modern era by a comfortable margin. Those who watched them and other teams will know. It's like they weren't even playing the same sport as their opponents.
