Wheee!: no power since this morning. Power line the backyard was downed by falling limbs, now lying in a small pond of standing water. House is on Gen, but it doesn't cover the stove, laundry, garage, RV pad (where my home/trailer is hooked up) or my office. Brrrrr... Dining table is a lousy desk.

one thing iâm stuck on is this idea that âmasculineâ energy means license to act like a chud in public, as opposed to more traditional notions of public masculinity, such as those that put a premium on the performance of integrity, honesty, honor and generosity.

Formatting is so wildly important. Please follow submission guidelines about formatting to the letter. Reading 400+ stories is hard enough without scanning through tiny fonts, terrible line spacing, weird justification etc. Help my old eyes read you more easily.

I'm doing another pseudo-historic project at the moment (ANTIOCH) and am daily reminded that here's the thing: cherry-picking what does and doesn't work narratively is FINE. If some nerd notices what you did "wrong," then they can just feel smart about it, I don't care, it's all good đ

Did you know that you should end your alt text with a period? "End alt text with a period, even if it isnât a full sentence. The period ensures that the screen reader pauses after reading the alt text." This was a new tip for me. Glad to learn something new!
