It turns out my left eye is mostly only good for depth perception rn so like. That kind of sucks lol. I'll be getting my new prescription after Thanksgiving and hopefully be able to do cool activities like reading House of Leaves with less squinting.

It feels like it's taken months, even though it'll only have been one as of the 15th, but almost everything is unpacked and there's a .. safeness. to wake up and see my posters and the cat tree by the window and hear the birds. There's more to do but by April surely everything will be in order.

Hope feels kind of oily and sour in my mouth. I don't like the word very much.. Making something from nothing, or maybe I'm correlating it too much with blind faith? I've had the worst three weeks in years in some ways, but I'm still excited for tomorrow and I don't know any other words for it.
