I moved to a different dueling system altogether. But it's good, and includes more hidden information which is good for a hacking theme. Finished my prototype card frames in Dextrous for the ease of exporting into TTS. Love that tool.

One does not simply make a quick start guide for a game. This is a serious exercise in editing my own work. Condensing without losing clarity. And trying hard to cut things out that do not have a direct bearing on a new players first game or two. 1/2

As another positive bit of progress. I got all my MD cards imported into TTS. Now I just need the playmats imported. And we'll be ready for TTS playtesters.

Finally settled on a dueling system I like for Metaverse Duels. I've worked on the comprehensive rules document. Now I'm trying to streamline and just cover the basics in a Quick Start rules document. Cutting out details is TOUGH.

Been doing more iterations on my hacker vs #hacker #cardgame #design. My hacking mechanic felt flat and predictable, which is bad for a game about hacking. Previous iterations of it were too much mental math. So I simplified and trimmed the hacking rules until it was a single number comparison. 1/3
