This article comes at a very... thought-provoking time for me. I used to speedrun the first Sly Cooper, and was a pretty solid runner at the time (though I know WAY more has been discovered since then) I've been considering starting streaming again soon and this might get me back into speedrunning.

One of the things I've been thinking about in this regard is returning to streaming. I think I have a knack for developing and fostering welcoming communities for those who don't necessarily have a lot of other places to go to. I know it's a super saturated platform, but... (1/2)

I think I'm angry. I'm not an angry person by nature, and it's not something I experience regularly. With everything going on, I think deep down, I'm angry at all the shit happening, whether in my personal life or the world at large. I want- no, I need things to change. For myself and others.

Not gonna lie, the past like, month has just kinda sucked. Not even just from all the bullshit the country I live in is doing, of course, but because I've been struggling mentally in a few ways. I just can't seem to find the brain space to work on and improve at the things I want to improve at.

I'd continue to work on my music without all the stress of having to pay my bills. I'd go visit friends and go to events that I've never been able to go to otherwise.

I need to show some more kindness to myself. I'm still very hard on myself when it comes to my emotions, because for a long time (and still some now), I did not trust myself with intimate feelings towards others, because more often than not it led to a negative outcome. It won't always be that way.

I grew up in religion, lived in the Bible Belt during high school, and spent some semesters at a private Christian university. Realizing I was queer and noticing how they demonized non-heterosexuality (among other things) was the final straw, though it never felt quite right in the first place

I think I'm now in a place where I can say I'm healing well. The rot feels like it's gone, and while I'm not naive enough to say I'm fully healed, I can take steps to make healthier choices in the hopes that I will be someday.

I've had something of an old emotional scar reopened tonight. Not necessarily in a bad way - it needed to in order for me to realize it wasn't healed properly, but oh boy does it hurt all the same. Easily one of - if not *the* - deepest scars I had. At least now I can tend to it properly.
