These people expect folks to push back at them and debate them and try to justify things to them. They can't STAND being made to feel like THEY'RE the dumb ones.

Similarly to the culture war, for furries, kink discourse nowadays is mostly handed out by young or inexperienced or gullible furs drinking from the toxic firehose of the same two or three toxic influencers. So I'm really tempted to deal with them the same way I deal with right-wing idiots.

What does this have to do with kink discourse? Well... just some recent observations I've made. Nowadays, a lot of the worst discourse in this never-ending cycle of discourse is actually not nearly as widespread among the masses as we fear it to be. Its sources are more concentrated.

Rather than debating the right wing, telling them they've been played for absolute fools by the worst people around is a pretty good way to stop an argument because they usually either storm off, go quiet, or become forced to play defense (something right-wingers are TERRIBLE at doing).

Right-wing dumbasses don't actually care about the merits of any given point in a debate. We know this already. But I have discovered that they REALLY don't like being told that the shittiest people on earth have been playing them for absolute fools, and that they fall for it every time.
