Yes, resistance is also standing up on the train when the thugs in tactical gear show up, and telling people "you have rights." It's covering up fascist stickers with rainbow flags. It's sidewalk-chalking a crosswalk that they've said can't be painted. It's using your privilege to get in the way.

Resistance isn't hashtags and blue waves and upside-down American flags. It's the quiet, everyday acts of persistence from every struggling person who refuses to be beaten. A queer artist posting their art. A struggling mother feeding her child. A father continuing his soul-sucking job search.

Just remember: the revolution will not be televised. The quiet, everyday acts of resistance won't make the news. Don't forget WHY you fight. Watch your aim. Watch your threat assessment. Don't attack the people who are on your side, even if they're not people you would get along with.
