Just got back from watching To Kill A Mockingbird at The Lowry. Fantastic! The guy sat next to us accused me of stealing his phone. He couldn’t find it after I squeezed past him. When he did find it, I said “Apology accepted” which seemed to annoy him even more. Also fantastic!

Picked up an old board game calledJiggle yesterday from a charity shop in town. Never heard of it before, but on BGG it says it’s from 1970. It’s a bit like a flat Tetris, in that you have to put different shapes on a board to fill it as much as possible without gaps.

Question for the 80sNos website: What was the board game you and your family used to play the most in the 80s? Did you have regular games nights? Was anyone in your family a really sore loser? Some answers may appear on the 80sNostalgia website.

You can tell how weird someone’s name is by how easy it was for them to get an email address without any numbers in it. If you’ve got numbers in your email address, your name is too common. You should probably change it.

What’s your tactic for Wordle? First words for me are always ASIDE and GHOUL, to get all the vowels. Then, I’ll try to get as many additional consonants as possible, so PRINT. 14 letters by guess 3 is usually enough to work it out, but I’ll use WOMBY if it’s a tricky one.

Didn’t get a fortune telling fish this year. Sad times.

Went to Cha-ology in Manchester this afternoon for our 30th wedding anniversary meal. Such a lovely experience. Exquisite food, many different teas, and knowledgeable hosts. These Matcha and Hojicha chocolates were the final course. Couldn’t have asked for a better evening.
