It's very NYT to say that bookstores are closing. Bookstores are opening faster than they're closing. That's a net gain. And people love bookstores. (Yes, there are a few haters, most of whom either troll us on the internet or stomp out when they see we don't have a pro-book-banning display 🙄)

If you're gonna use alt text use it correctly, use it to actually describe the image, I keep seeing that one "this user is against ice and so are these users" image with the alt text just being "fuck ice" or "ACAB" and while I whole heartedly agree with those statements, that's not proper alt text.
