Reform could gain another MP this Thursday. That's why we're urging Labour, Lib Dem, & other party supporters to lend their vote to the Greens this time in Gorton & Denton. We've carried out extensive research and it points to this being our best chance of stopping a very real threat from Reform.

We will be providing tactical voting advice for the Gorton and Denton by-election. With an accuracy of 99.67% in the 2024 GE (stopreformuk.vote/results) we know people will trust us over biased party claims and questionable bar charts to help them Stop Reform.

Started off a list earlier this week & struggled to find all the MPs that have actually set up profiles on Bluesky rather than just be on X. So built a little utility via TheyWorkForYou and Bluesky APIs to see if I could make it more comprehensive, so far I think I've found about 353 mps.dowu.uk

At the general election, we had over 1.5m requests for tactical voting advice on stopthetories.vote This guidance about which candidate was best placed to vote to get your local Tory out was then screenshot into group chats and added to flyers The result was the end of 14 years of Tory rule 🙏

This would be a very useful development. However, the Electoral Commission needs radically stronger enforcement powers if we are to avoid the potential of a dark politics tragedy here.

Meanwhile, in the UK the maximum sanction for breaking electoral law is a £20k fine 😬

I've calculated the numbers from original ONS published stats now. If we exclude international students (as all countries do), the net migration figure for last year is 470,000. Of whom 376,000 came for work. Half of the rest were HK and Ukrainians. That is the non-sensational headline for today.
