If you'd like to support a Romani creator on International Romani day, please take a look at some of my games on itch - like this Duet TTRPG inspired by the Romani concept of Romanestan (the co-creation of safe, often metaphysical, spaces for persecuted communities)

Today is International Romani day! ๐๐๐ I often highlight our struggles against racism, segregation and prejudice. But today I want to CELEBRATE the beauty and reality of our culture! So if you have any respectful question about Roma and our culture feel free to ask and, if I can, I will answer ๐๐ฅฐ๐

Living seawall in San Francisco designed to create marine habitat while reducing floods. The textured concrete tiles in marine environments support native seaweeds, shellfish and small fish, so San Francisco is now rebuilding its ageing seawall using this technique.

do it. ditching spotify years ago pushed me back towards music radio & it while it doesn't replace playlists/having an on the go music library, a good rotation of stations is much better for music exploration. i strongly recommend
nts.live
for starters, so much variety + massive playback library

Please remember when you swim in the ocean: 200 meters below you, there is a layer of fish that stretches all around the world. It is so dense, that when it was discovered during WWII it scared the navy so bad they bombed it. This is the ocean's thin inner shell of fish [๐งต]

personally i would often like writing to be easier. it is a constant struggle for me & that's on unmedicated adhd & now long covid fatigue. i'd like to not be up against that. i don't think a fucking LLM is going to do anything for me there. & even if it's frustratingly slow, i do need the process.

here are the fundamenal rules for what's in or out of scope in THE SEA AROUND US. the timeline is nonlinear and the place is pretty much anywhere you can think of, as long as there is a sea, an us, and an active, material relationship between th two.

thinking about this kind of thing a lot lately, on the narrative game side. an early test i do for my rules is 'can i explain this to my mum', and in a recent attempt at that she (a former drama teacher) asked what i'm doing for people who struggle/aren't confident with making stuff up on the spot.
