the other day i wanted to make hot dogs for our dinner, but i couldn't find the pack of sausages i'd bought. i asked my partner, but she made a face and asked if i couldn't make something better. naturally I replied that she would only deserve my best, if she could support my wurst.

somebody asked me what i think of the breadless hot dog, and i have to say, urgh! it's just the wurst.

where you went to school, did you have to wear a mandatory uniform? i didn't in Nottingham, England in primary school, but i did in secondary school. it changed a bit while i was there (relaxed; ties became non-compulsory) but really tightened (branded blazers) a few years after i left.

This post in particular, but the whole thread, was hard to write, but incredibly freeing. I feel so much better about myself today than I did six, seven years ago. I couldn't have done that work on myself without really thinking about masculinity, and I couldn't have done that without y'all.

I think it's time I came out with it, because if I don't, it's just going to hang over me for even longer: I'm no longer identifying with the non-binary label, and I'm no longer using to use they/them pronouns for myself. I want to dig a little into this below, but the headline is there for you.
