Saw an art buddy of mine who has had a very successful gallery debut speak about insane imposter syndrome that goes along with it and after 13 years of doing art full time, this is still something I struggle with to this day. My job is weird as hell and there’s so much self worth riding on ‘success’

And then it happens and the job you’ve been wanting for so long lands and you still can’t quite get your head around it. Then what? There are so many better artists out there! Do they know that?? Art kids are told that art isn’t a real job their whole lives and when it happens you can’t shake it

This is V, the Temperance card. This one was a bit of a challenge to conceptualize because of the orange and blue clothing requirement, but in the end, both the customer and I loved how the final illustration turned out!
