During Lent we have been walking daily to cover the distance of the Blue Nile for SCIAF -approximately 900 miles. Amazingly we have walked more than 973 miles!!! We would appreciate any donations as we plan on creating a coin trail tomorrow (Wednesday 1st April). 😊

This week, Primary 7 explored newspaper articles, worked on BODMAS and angles, made exciting plans for their prom, and enjoyed some outdoor learning in the lovely weather. Have a great weekend!

This morning we started our new PE block of touch rugby. 🏉 A great start and lots of enthusiasm from everyone!

Last week in P7 we were busy across the curriculum! We created our own news reports based on our Talk for Writing model text, practised finding percentages of amounts in numeracy, and created perspective drawing in art. We also had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day in our pyjamas! 📚✨

Primary 7 have been busy this week! In maths, we converted between fractions, decimals and percentages, and sorted triangles by their properties. In literacy, we created poems using similes and metaphors. Fantastic effort all around! 🌟

We’ve had a fantastic week! We created our own suspense stories, researched the Winter Olympics, and recorded our own Olympic sport commentaries. We also had a go at drawing 3D shapes and finished the week with football in the MUGA. ⚽️✨

Today we explored symmetry by designing our own flags 🏳️ Pupils chose to work digitally or on paper, with the challenge of creating a flag with more than one line of symmetry. They did a fantastic job! ⭐️

Primary 6/5 and Primary 7 pupils worked together to plan and create a trap to catch Santa 🎅. They then presented their ideas to the class. The children worked fantastically together, and we were so impressed with their creativity and teamwork!

Primary 7 had a great time visiting Primary 2 today and reading stories to them 📖😊

Today we created blueprints for our ideal house, calculated the perimeter of each room and built a full floor plan using Kappla. 🏡📐
