I have an odd soft spot for John Frankenheimer's Ronin (1998) - the cast is great (Sean Bean lives!); the script is sharp (and tells you no more than you need to know - not clear how much of that is Mamet's work); and, somehow, action thrillers are usually all the better for being set in Europe.
