A late finish to this evening's session (it's definitely time for bed... 😴) but a bit of tiredness feels worth it to hit 70,000 words! Things are progressing really well, and I have all next week off work, so I am hoping to be able to really kick on for the rest of the month!

A bit of a stuttering end to the week after a good start, but we got there in the end! 😅 That's 60k reached now and we're right in the thick of the midpoint action, which should hopefully lead to some fun and exciting scenes to write this coming week! 👀✍️📚

Not sure how long this will last but I am enjoying the perfect 3:1 ratings to reviews ratio with a couple of nice round numbers 🤣 (Seriously though 300 ratings is beyond what I ever imagined when I first published this book - thank you all so much 💙🚀)

We hit 50k! 🥳🥳 Feels like such a good milestone to reach, and we're approaching the midpoint of the book now which always brings about some fun scenes to write as the tension and action ramps up. Feeling really pleased with how progress has been these last few weeks!

Today's hot take - all sequels should come with recaps of the previous book(s) in the series! 👀📚 As a reader, I always find it really helpful when authors include recaps, so it's something I've decided to incorporate into my Sea of Souls books in the form of in-world letters!

Just finished outlining the epilogue of the final Sea of Souls book today (I outline the beginning first, then the end, then flesh out the middle as I go). I may have just broken myself 😭 I had an idea how I wanted to end it, but I figured out the details today and... I think it's right. 💙
