If Republicans value their own lives, then this should be their wakeup call that they must step back on their need for hate and violence. To quit scapegoating trans people and Palestine and put in common sense gun laws and hate speech restrictions if they don't want to be next Charlie Kirk.

In fact, Kirk himself believed that gun deaths are the price to pay so that the country could have the 2nd amendment. I wonder, when he said that back in 2023, did he ever thought that he'd one day actually be a sacrifice to his own violent cause?

The reason why Charlie Kirk passed away was not because of a bullet to the neck. He was killed by his own conservative ideologies. He wanted an America fueled by hate speech and the same myths of white nationalism that Germany once believed. He got his wish with Trump, and look at him now.

Today is a valuable lesson that bullets don't care about your politics. They don't take sides and ignores your beliefs. If Republicans want an environment where gun violence is an everyday occurrence, they shouldn't be surprised that some of their own will be exterminated along the way.

The Trump admin wrongly sent Kilmar Abrego Garcia to a horrific El Salvadoran prison. Now, just days after he was reunited with his family, they’re trying to deny him his rights and deport him to Uganda. Kilmar—like everyone—deserves a fair hearing to defend himself.

Lily Orchard is a complete monster. That has nothing to do with her identity, but her actions. She's just a terrible human being. She also made bad videos essays that resulted in people being harassed. All of it merits criticism.

That also doesn't mean her shows don't get fairly criticized for flaws and problems. I think it's more bigoted to treat her work with kids gloves just because Vizzie is a marginalized person. But we should call out bigotries. ....but then I saw people use this to defend Lily Orchard....

There are a number of people I have seen discussion how LGBTQIA creators online get an unusual amount of criticism online. This I think started over Vizziepop, whose work I do not like. But yeah, Vizzie probably does get some hate due to her orientation. however....

You know when the cartoon community's toxicity is becoming a serious problem when the videos that call out the fanbase on their hypocrisy and negativity have begun. Smarty Pants made a great video discussing this toxicity, especially with how it was so noticeably bad with the way they treated Elio.

Animation Twitter owes Genndy Tartakovsky and his crew an apology for all the horrific harassment and bullying they threw at behind making Fixed. You don’t have to like the movie or anything. But they fucking deserves better respect than what they’ve received.
