The way you know graded retro games are a financial scam is that time Mario 64 (a game with millions of copies in circulation) sold at auction for 1.5 million while games that legit had very limited print runs only go for a few thousand a pop.

If console gaming were to completely die, I don't really see myself making PC my main platform only to continue consuming new products. I'm more likely to cycle through my accumulation of old games, and play them through crusty-ass RCA composite cables on any HDTV that still accepts them, lol.
