This kind of skill gating absolutely baffles me. Silksong is an incredible work of art I want all my friends to enjoy, not just whoever happens to be really good at a very specific kind of video game. Right now the first act is just objectively bad because its difficulty "curve" is a fucking cliff.

Silksong seems way better balanced in the late game. I feel like Act 1 is just bad, it gets way too hard way too fast. If they made most things in Act 1 do one mask of damage it'd fix a lot of things. Maybe they're slowly realizing this, since the first patch is already nerfing 2 bosses from Act 1.

The reason fascists are able to exploit your "ew thats icky!" Response is because your sense of morality is tied to your sense of disgust. Things you find "gross" will also seem morally wrong, even if the logic doesn't hold up to scrutiny. But you *can* learn to recognize that response!

This also applies to non-profits, small companies, and unions! Boy howdy do big companies like doing this to literally anyone they don't like.
