Just saying, I'm a HUGE fan of the push for decentralized internet again. Like when social media specifically becomes decentralized, the dead internet theory feels way less real. Like I know the people interacting here are people, and I haven't felt that in years.

The final piece of advice I would like to give to new folks tonight is that Bluesky will be what you make of it. When I came over from the former Twitter, I resolved to be more kind to others here than I was over there. That choice has made being here so much better. Keep it in mind for yourself.
