I'm dealing with SAD, and told the Roses for the Soul group that I needed something particularly interesting to focus on. These flowers seem to fit that bill. I'm honestly not sure where I found them. Here on Bluesky, perhaps, are on other sites.

After a friend's funeral yesterday, Roses for the Soul needed a reminder of how important each of us is. These lovely photos and the meme came from right here on Bluesky, and I'm grateful to have used them again to create this collage. Each of us matter.

Being sick sucks. Being sick while the world is in chaos collapsing around you, and a friend dies of cancer, makes you wonder why you're still sticking around on this sad, sorry old planet.

It’s been one month since 100% of the Epstein files were due by Act of Congress. Thus far they’ve only released .6% of them and are using murder and war to distract you from this fact.

Roses for the Soul group is all suffering in different ways over the loss of one of our members. So I searched for and found photos that might show what we hope she is encountering there on the Other Side, in which we all believe. May these soothe your soul, as well.

I rarely drink. A friend gave several of us a quart jar each of 90 proof homemade apple jack in November; it's been sitting there, unopened. But a friend died of cancer today, & I've already lost 4 friends and a cat to that filthy disease, so this seemed like the right evening to open it. Salute!

When one of the Roses for the Soul group died of cancer early this morning, I realized that I did not know what her favorite flower was. I'm hoping that somewhere within these two collages, her favorite is hiding.

Because we all need a little joy in these desperate times... The tiny week-old kitten with his tail straight up is now 7 months old and found his forever home. Sleeping happily on his new cat bed. He has one bad eye; it opened too early. So he is Odin, the one-eyed God.
