The state fair is bad on so many levels. But the displays are just embarrassing. If you’ve ever been to a racing event like WEC or DTM that’s how it’s done. (I assume it’s the same for IMSA etc over there) F1 too of course but I’m thinking of more reasonable budgets.

More or Less debunked this. The European stats measure excess deaths in heatwaves whereas the US ones only measure deaths where heat is mentioned on the death certificate. They do think more die of heat in Europe because of the general lack of air conditioning but these stats aren’t reliable.
