I found out Mt Rainier is very visible from Portland and that's crazy to think about. I'm used to mountain ranges that are rarely more than 40 miles away. The sheer scale of something visible from over a hundred is mind boggling.

It is 90 degrees and I have accomplished basically nothing today, but at least I did a lot yesterday to make up for it.

I've got 29 days to find a place to live. I'm looking for jobs and apartments in Portland. Financially I'm in a little better place, but a roommate would go a long way to stretch that budget until I can get established.

It's just so frustrating that getting screwed out of selling the home at a decent price is making what would have been a simple move into one that's way more complicated and stressful. Seven hundred and fifty bucks for 14 years of my life.
