This is one substantial change we'll be making to False Fruit v2. In the original jam game, the tilesets are mostly pre-made assets and RPG Maker defaults with strict palettes assigned to them. In v2, we (mostly Jabberwocky) will be entirely replacing them with custom art. #indiegamedev
