A small thing I really enjoy about Silksong is that it doesn't treat female nudity as inherently sexual or profane. That sprite of Hornet taking her cloak off that all those YouTubers were making "I'm gonna get demonetized!!!" jokes about doesn't even show up in a private moment.

My problem with Silksong is that for every "Oh this is really fun," or "That's really ingenious game design" moments, there are two or three "Why the fuck was the game consciously made like this" moments

I genuinely love Gamemaker by the way, as much as I complain about it. I don't think I'd be making much of anything without it. I only care at all because of this

Genuine question, is it a Gamemaker thing or a software developer thing to say "Ah, we're updating this anyway, so it's fine if it's broken right now," then continuing to say that for 2 years while said thing is still broken with no real alternative
