I revised the letters N and Z a bit. N is now a bumper you can deploy, while Z is one you can hold. In addition to deflecting projectiles, they also knock characters and monsters back. #gamedev #indiegame

What got you into #gamedev? "Slacking off" by designing levels on paper during class when I was 12, and running Flash off a USB drive on the school library computers when the librarian wasn't looking.

#GameDev may not always be glamorous, but I love how often I look at my task list and realize how funny this stuff is out of context. "Stop levitating while sleeping, prevent bleeding from eating spicy peppers, go insane faster," etc. I never got that when I worked on mortgage software.

Game design is mostly collecting broken ugly incomplete ideas and smooshing them together hoping they will kiss.
