Signing off a weird year. I haven't released much this year, but for the two LP's I did put out, I'm very happy with. Hope you enjoyed them too. 2026 will start off rapid-pace, with a new LP due late Jan/early Feb. This is a very melodic, almost Berlin-school record. Can't wait for that to drop.

RIP Ken Downie. Hard to overstate just how important Ken, as part of The Black Dog, were (and still are) to electronic music here in the UK. Bytes is one of those rare timeless albums, which has stayed with me over many decades of my life. Just awful. Condolences to his friends and family.

Classic stuff from @3six.bsky.social here and strong recommend. What Loscil refers to as "super true to the genre" in The Making of Grief Point. Ambience as analog/digital sound world and a study of synthesis and movement. Will be stuck to the Sonos for this winter.
