I'm still shaking my head as to how Colin Kaepernick paid a heavier price for having taken a knee than those who stormed the Capitol on January 6th did for their actions. On the fifth anniversary of that unforgettable day, let's Remember the Heroes who helped save our democracy.

January 6th participant: January 6th was an insurrection. I broke the law. Police officers were assaulted that day. I point the finger to Trump. Rep. Correa: So this really happened. This was an assault on our democracy, on our Capitol. J6 participant: Absolutely. Orchestrated by Trump.

This is ridiculous. Federal law required the Jan. 6 plaque to be hung on Capitol grounds by March 2023. It still has not been put up.
