“Quiet, quiet, Piggy.” -Donald Trump I am continually appalled by Trump. But I’m even more appalled by the Christians who keep supporting him. “Christian” means “Christ-like.” Right now, every pastor and parent should be saying, “Act like Jesus not like Trump.” Follow Jesus. Not Trump.

The world can be heavy sometimes. I thought you might like a cute baby video to lift your spirits. Our little boy is 22 months old… and has the greatest laugh.

I spoke at an event in NYC tonight. And this is the first thing I saw when I got off the train back here in Philly. Love it.

I keep thinking of how Dr. King said the church is not meant to be the servant of the State or the master of the State — but the Church should be the conscience of the State. Our country needs a moral conscience right now. Courageous is contagious. Keep it coming. Faith over fear.

Absolutely sickening. And unsurprising. Stand up. Speak out. Get in the way. Let us love and protect and show up for our immigrant neighbors.

Yes. We do remember.

Congrats to my friend Larry Krasner. His landslide victory is one more reminder of how fed up people are with mass incarceration, police corruption, the death penalty, & a messed up criminal justice system. Looking forward to all the good we can do together as he enters his 3rd term as Philly DA. 👊

He literally says we are “killing all the right people” and celebrates that we have “run out of bombs.” All the while pretending to be Christian. Rebuke it in the name of Jesus - the Prince of Peace who blesses the poor and the peacemakers… not the millionaires and the warmongers.

I can’t stop thinking about these precious children in Gaza dressing up as their favorite saints for All Saints Day. May we all work for the day that every child in Gaza is cherished and protected. God loves Gaza.
