I am sickened by Trump. But I am even more sickened by the fact that there are people who call themselves Christians and still defend him. Follow Jesus. Not Trump.

Our little boy just turned 2. He’s learning some of the most important words in the world. “Thank you.” “I’m sorry.” “You’re welcome.” “I love you.” And “Amen” which he says after every prayer. I made him a steamed milk, one of our favorite treats. And this was his response. 🥰

Evangelical singer Sean Feucht is headed to Minneapolis for an event he's calling "Riots to Revival." Jesus himself died at the hands of the State to show us the power of God's love over sin and violence. Let us celebrate Christ... not Caesar or Herod or Trump.

I’ve heard gun enthusiasts argue that the 2nd Amendment protects every American’s right to bear arms, so that they can protect themselves in the the tragic event that the federal government turns against the people. If you don’t defend, Alex Pretti… you don’t really believe in the Second Amendment.

Please take 1 min to watch this. A mom recorded this video of her 12 year-old son, Max, talking about being bullied by a kid who said Trump was going to deport him. Hateful words have real consequences, especially when they come from our President and elected leaders. Stand on the side of love.

Here in Philadelphia, the National Park Service dismantled exhibits about slavery in Independence National Historical Park. Just in time for Black History Month.

He is 5 years old. Liam Ramos - a precious child detained by ICE. This is cruel and wicked. Jesus is always with the children, the vulnerable and marginalized. Jesus said whatever we do them we do to Him. Abolish ICE. Stand with our immigrant neighbors.

All eyes on Minneapolis this week. Clergy in the twin cities have invited pastors and faith leaders from around the country to stand in solidarity against ICE raids. Salt melts ice, even in Minnesota! Praying for all there - and for everyone around our country as we stand with immigrant neighbors.

Jesus literally staged a protest IN THE TEMPLE. Flipped some tables… and drove out the folks pretending to be holy. It seems pretty clear that one of the most offensive things to God is when people use religion to cover up their greed and bigotry. Rebuke it. In the name of Jesus.

We don’t always think of Dr. King as a victim of gun violence, but he was. He was also a victim of racism and white supremacy. But he refused to hate. In honor of Dr. King, we’ve added a bunch of stuff made from chopped up guns onto our website: www.RAWtoolsPhilly.org

Philly showing up today, even in the rain. Eli and I are proud to stand with millions around the country as we say “ABOLISH ICE.” Once again, Philadelphia — “the City of Love” — makes it clear. Immigrants are welcome here. ICE is NOT.

The world is chaotic. I thought you might like a cute baby video. Eli turned 2 this week and is already an aspiring blacksmith and carpenter. So we got him his own work outfit - gloves, goggles and apron (sweet find at our thrift store!) - and he loves it. Don’t let this world crush your joy.

Horrific and brutal. The State of Israel has announced it will ban over 30 humanitarian organizations from working in Gaza—including Doctors Without Borders (MSF). Collective punishment is wrong. Every person in Gaza is made in the image of God. End the occupation. Let Gaza live.
