the "unity" argument is always pulled out by bigots when they're called on their bigotry. like... who's fault is it that there's no unity between you and those you oppress?

social justice is not about "unity" between the oppressed and the oppressor. it's about standing up for the oppressed and fighting for a better future for them. whether or not the oppressors want to be "united" with the oppressed is on THEM, not on the oppressed.

It honestly breaks my heart whenever I see someone say something to the effect of “I’m never touching this piece of media because of its toxic fandom”. It seriously could be the best thing you’ve ever experienced. It just sucks how actions outside of the creators don’t even give others a chance

I'm reminded of something Bucky Fuller said. This is a guy that died in the eighties, and probably said this in his twenties, and I think about it all the time. Cuz I know exactly what I'd be without this bullshit.

Everything is temporary and disposable and only deserves maintenance to the degree that its value can be extracted. It is impossible to be with someone without one's mind turning toward their use value. I cannot enjoy anything because I am constantly reminded of how it all serves deadness.

I am not made for Capitalism. Every relationship I have feels cheapened and dehumanized by the exchange of money. Everything becomes a hollow experience because it is meted out by an arbitrary quantification of worth. It makes me feel as if the only true emotion or relational value is exploitation
