Signing petitions, making phone calls, writing letters, going to demos. Often we don't, suffering from overwhelm, wondering what difference these small acts will make. But if you start, before you know it, sending letters has become a part of your routine.

@thenarwhal.ca has the best environmental writing in Canada. Their research often goes a step beyond. Their fact finding missions and reportage have instigated real world change. Started by surfer chicks from Vancouver Island. We are the ones we've been waiting for. Some people take it to heart.
