I planted some tiny, tiny stalks of milkweed about a month ago and now I check their growth more regularly and with more precision than I observed my own children’s (one appeared to die but has offshoots that are green! The other has some offshoots!).

Reminder: planting milkweed if you can, wherever you can, helps the pollinators. Butterflies and bees absolutely love them! And when they bloom, their blossoms are as gloriously fragrant as any lilac.
