It seems kinda rude that I am teaching about Hurricane Katrina this morning.

My first semester of teaching college was full of unexpected challenges. But the finals were joy, thanks to a colleague's suggestion. We had a monument to the Miranda warning, a poem about the Equal Pay Act, and a dance lesson to celebrate the history of disco!

I try to fight the temptation to be alarmist about civic education, but I have seen several people on this app in the last two days that are advising Biden to become a dictator to further programs they favor, or to stop a different dictator, and I guess I was wrong.
