Here’s all the games I bought from Thailand, assembled with new jewel cases where appropriate. Think I did quite well for variety.

Here’s a tip for anyone who likes buying weird games overseas - junk any generic jewel cases and pack the rest. Note the design (if they’ve got clear trays etc) and then just replace them with appropriate cases from sealed old stock DVD-RWs, crap music compilations, etc. Saves about 80% of space.

Combing through lots of games can be overwhelming, though when it’s the PS1 you can just hone in on the ones that say Namco on the side as they’re usually a great time.

This game is really good by the way, if you want to drive around in a tank and wave a massive beautiful screen-filling flamethrower around that beautifully reflects off the water then go play it.

Big BleedingCart update: I found my video editing software! It was in my suitcase from last year. Everything is coming together! We have video recording, video capture, audio recording, all the software. Finally my channel can be more than a brief clip of that guy taking a leak in Die Hard Arcade.

Saw a white Volvo V70 in the car park today and immediately wanted to acquire it and do real life Thrill Drive. I think about Thrill Drive a lot basically.

Found a photo of Ghosts (starring Christopher Lee!) on the PC which means it's definitely in storage and wasn't something I sold in a blind panic when I needed money. Going to have to sort out the storage this year, already started. Bet there's all kind of weird nonsense in there.

Another archive photo from some time around Covid where Poundland inexplicably fished out some bad PS3 games (they later reduced them to £1 and I bought every single one just so I could have a set of nice PS3 cases to transplant onto used games).

From the archives, here is a NES that I sold some years back because it turns out PAL NES games are weirdly expensive so then I ultimately bought a Famicom. Hope it's out there doing well.

I remember quite well the unofficial "software package" that came with my desktop PC in Christmas 1998. Windows 95 (pirated), Office 95, Encarta 95, some weird disc with Clipart and low-resolution videos of New York, Flight Simulator 95, Return to Zork, Ghosts. The only fully boxed game was Ghosts.

Post a game you remember playing that nobody else remembers: I got this and a few other random things with my first proper "multimedia" desktop PC, some cobbled-together ex-office Windows 95 thing from a scruffy shop in Dewsbury. FMV-based Christopher Lee frequently turns up to offer spooky advice!

Despite growing up with the Spectrum, I never really got on that well with the Dizzy games as I disliked the rolling momentum - though for some reason I quite liked the Mega Drive one that I had on a 2-in-1 cart with Cosmic Spacehead (I also liked that).

Not long until holidays, wonder if I can play games on this guy’s head again.

Can't remember a phone number I've had for over a decade, somehow still vaguely remember this program from an obscure PS2 promo CD. If someone could mechanically examine the contents of my brain, it would be 80% things like this.

This Grand Theft Auto: Carcer City mod for the San Andreas engine looks very interesting, I particularly like the way it seems to stay grounded in terms of in-game assets. I find it a bit weird when people try to shove really high poly models and textures into the SA engine.

I had the PAL Mega Drive version of Zero Wing in the day and the bad translation was something I never noticed back then because it wasn’t unusual for games to be like that. When the AYB craze took off years ago, I thought “huh”.

Now we are into 2026, I can reveal that Pocket Card Jockey: Ride On is the official BleedingCart Game of the Year 2025. It came out in 2024 and it’s effectively a remake of a 2016 3DS game, but it’s my award and I can do what I like. What are you going to do, come and get me?

Was thinking of My Winter Car’s AI and offer this to the dev - the reason I liked MSC is it feels the passion project of one person. Simple textures, funny voice acting and music, blunt English translation is part of the unique charm and character. AI is the opposite of this. It’s easy to remove it!

As I’ve seen (better) content creators doing Games Completed 2025, here’s mine - but I’ll explain it’s been a mad year where I’ve been lucky to get more than 30 minutes playing a game at a time, with me even resorting to playing a game on this guy’s head out of desperation.
