My dad always spoke energetically about his working relationship with Sam Kieth during their time together on the Liquid Television adaptation of The Maxx. We simply don’t foster artists with the same scope of talent, vision, and uniqueness anymore. Saddened to hear of his passing.

The Maxx holds an indelible place in our home. I'm so very sorry to hear of Sam Kieth's passing. Not only did his work showcase the power of indie comics, but he pushed boundaries and used extraordinary worlds to remind us that sometimes our fragile nature is our greatest strength. A true icon.
