To be clear, ICE agents are still being paid. TSA agents are not. A gut punch for these folks who have to work under this reality. 📌 Senate Dems tried 7 times to pass standalone funding bills specifically for TSA pay and operations during the partial DHS shutdown. Republicans blocked each attempt.

Republicans voted NO to fund TSA, which means NO pay for 50,000 TSA agents — but have no problem with ICE Agents being paid and sent to airports knowing it will create more havoc. Paid for with our tax dollars.

Camp East Montana is a massive tent camp sitting on Fort Bliss military base near El Paso, Texas. It opened in August 2025 and almost immediately became the largest ICE detention facility in the entire United States holding over 2,700 people. In tents in the Texas heat.
