Had a dream a while back in which I discovered the existence of the "Grave of the Fireflies/Super Mario World 2-in-1" for the Wii. It basically functioned as a DVD except for a "special features" section that literally only had an SNES emulator playing Mario World. It went for absurd prices on eBay

In the Super Mario Galaxy games, the staff credits text is always loaded into RAM despite not being needed until the ending. While horribly inefficient, this is inadvertently heartwarming as the games appear to honor their creators by keeping them in memory at all times.

I was talking about this with a friend and we were talking about the like theoretical "LLM Skyrim" and I said, if it ever works on a large scale AAA, it will only work once because the next time around they will realize, as they play a completely different game, that the dialog is still the same.
