One of these days I'll make a proper post about how Subaru's story in Tokyo Babylon is- despite how bombastic, or supernatural, or terrible it may seem- overall mundane, & how I think it illustrates the theme of TB perfectly. In my mind, it's the idea that in Tokyo, terrible things happen every day.
