I hear a lot of "we have to design for the agentic web" from people who have so far failed to design for even the regular web

I think I should start tracking how often in a day I find myself waiting on a spinner and either grab my phone or go to Bluesky. I haven't been tracking exactly, but I think in just the first hour of work, I'm probably at 6 or so?

Personally, I’ve been avoiding adding worktrees to my workflow. I’ve always kept two copies of my important repos to do parallel work and doing two things at once is more than enough for me. That’s already stretching me re: context switching. Don’t care to be stretched further. I ain’t Gumby.

Going on a work trip for a few days. I always have this conundrum of do I want to pack my work laptop AND my personal laptop? Working on side projects at the airport or on the plane is the best, but I don't really need $4K of computers in my backpack, do I?

I will admit, the last 2 months or so, since Opus 4.6, has been a dramatic change in the quality of the code generated by AI. I don't find myself correcting it nearly as often. But now because it's so much better, I'm writing so much less, and my understanding of the code is quickly fading.

Someone should make a skill that turns Claude Code into Rocky from Project: Hail Mary. It'd be fun to have the AI say things like "Amaze! Amaze! Amaze!"

Been trying to deploy an app to prod for the first time all day. AI has made it a lot simpler for me, lots of infra stuff I don’t feel confident with. That said, we are on attempt #19 and we still aren’t there. Some things never change.

I love the WFH part of my life. I don’t love the “I’m always at my home and I can’t figure out how to get out of it more often for things that aren’t work or errands” part of my life.

Feeling frustrated: ideas I had 6-12 months ago that “couldn’t be done” are now getting done by other people because they can put agents on it and take credit. I wouldn’t be upset if I wasn’t being scrutinized for not getting bigger initiatives done when clearly I was too early on them.
