So what is the least bad practice on carousels and live regions? I get the idea of informing the user of changes but it seems like it would be annoying. Carousels are just for ads so users relying on screen readers are not missing anything important. What is the right choice here?

"It feels kinda dangerous— in a good way" That was a comment we recently got from design leader when we showed how designers work along side developers in Nordcraft. She is right. To suddenly be empowered to ship software directly to your users can be an intimidating feeling! ...

Digital agencies are struggling at the moment. The latest numbers show that digital agencies in Denmark have seen a 54% drop in revenue in 2024, mostly due to economic uncertainty, making customers less likely to invest in new projects.

Why is everyone trying to replace Software Engineers?
At this point it is safe to say that software engineers are not in any immediate danger of being replaced by AI. So why do people keep trying to do just that?

One of the things I really love about working in
@nordcraft.com
is that it removes so many of the things I don't like about coding, but i still get to do all the things that I love. I don't have to worry about CI/CD, deployment and configuring my local environment. I can just focus on building.

I know a lot of developers who never learned big O. But it is still a really valuable tool when talking about algorithmic performance. This is by far the best explanation I have seen. No excuses for not whipping out dom big O at your next team meeting!

This still remains one of the hardest questions to answer. You could call it "Webflow but with the power of a full JS framework" Or a WYSIWYG except what you see in the editor is **actually** what you get in the dom. We call it a Web development engine, and there isn't anything else like it.

AI coding tools make experienced developers 19% slower. But that is not the most interesting discovery… The developers estimated on average that AI had made them 20% faster. This is a massive gap between perceived effect and actual outcome. Read the study:
