Single Stair Flats and Vancouver "Villages" Now that rezoning notices are going out we can start to look at specific site examples. In this case, the commercial st "Village" near our office where there are a many lots that might be suitable for densification with a single-stair building.

i generally find government agencies pointing fingers at other agencies to be petty / a bad look, but kudos to TriMet for being willing to make explicit that state legislators are the ones whose inaction led to the service cuts the agency is about to enact.

if you’re being impacted by or mad about service cuts it’s really important to specifically tell your state legislators about it. doesn’t hurt to complain to trimet, city councilors, etc but the legislature has the power here and they need to know people are mad. tell your friends too!

Lmao who else is supposed to own a rental building?? You’ve only got like three private ownership options – private equity, family offices, and institutional investors. I don’t believe anybody smashing the repost button on this one even knows what any of these words mean.

When we took office, NYC had a $12B deficit. Today it’s zero. And we didn’t close that gap on the backs of working people. We closed it while funding parks, libraries, safer streets, & public housing. Call it Pothole Politics or Democratic Socialism: We are government that delivers for the people.
