The source of the disinformation about HB 2025 having tolling was Julie Parrish, a former 4-term Republican Oregon House rep. She posted on X on 6/23 that the bill "implements freeway tolls on I-205 & I-5." It doesn't, but 1000s of Oregonians saw this & believed it... & probably a few lawmakers.

Republicans are not interested in governing. This has been obvious for a long time. And yet, Dems compromise and compromise (enraging their own voters and constituents) only to get the finger in the end. We need new tactics. New reps. A new party. New everything. New anything.
