I can't get over that Chet attempted ELEVEN 3-pointers in the Western Conference Finals (and 4 of those were in Game 1). That's the fewest 3PAs in a 7-game span for his career. He attempted 31 in the first 8 games of the playoffs! Kenrich (43 minutes played) took more than him in the WCF!

Perkins was worse because it was never going to work against that Heat team. Without Dub/Ajay, I get that his options are more limited and if Dort is just average on 3s, it would probably have been fine.

Maybe Mark will consider moving Dort out of the starting lineup in Game 8.

Jared McCain outscored the Spurs bench 24-18 on his own before garbage time. Philly's bench combined for 24 or more points in 5 games this postseason.

Convinced at this point that a podcast focusing exclusively on OKC’s whistle would be really successful. Make it a video pod and do a frame-by-frame breakdown of all the missed/bad calls after every game. I think it’s the logical next step because it’s the best source of engagement in the sport.

That was my big takeaway too. The resisting of MVP bait. The Steph shot and overall dominance was certainly impressive, but I’ve never seen someone resist MVP bait quite like that.

Genuinely amazing how the Spurs dictate everything against OKC. Scrapped the starting lineup within 3 minutes. First meaningful Wiggins minutes of the playoffs. Game 1 and it feels like OKC is already scrambling for answers.

That game was SGA's most TOs (7) since Game 6 of the Finals last year. Before that, you have to go back to November 2024 against Denver. Only the 7th 7+ TO game in his career.

Ajay has made these playoffs so much less stressful than they would’ve been without him. Massive asset.

SGA has been efficient so far (12 pts on 5-7 shooting), but his 4 turnovers match his season-high for first-half turnovers. His success against the double has been hit or miss so far.

Isaiah Joe has already had two really impressive drives and tough finishes at the basket when he could've settled for a contested 3. Good sign for Playoff Joe being different this year.
