This paper is getting attention for suggesting ecosystem restoration won't help with mitigation, but restoration is still *critical* for adaptation. Restoring coastal wetlands helps reduce risks from sea level rise and hurricanes, restoring urban forests helps reduce risks from extreme heat, etc...
