Y'all. Please remember the artists that drew these things when sending around memes. I feel for these artists who NEVER get credited for these (and some, nowadays, are even being accused of being AI!) Here's a few common ones I see (feel free to add others, I want this to be a living thread): 🧵

Bsky is apparently gonna start flagging whole accounts as nsfw soon so if you don't already know about your moderation settings, highly suggest switching nsfw from Hide to Warn; otherwise many creators will completely vanish from your timeline when they roll this out.

If I had a nickel for every time I accidentally found a damnei artist on social media, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s funny it’s happened in the same year I’ve also taken picture of their art in the books to show friends cuz I adore their styles 🥹

bsky too quiet? missing comments? not seeing posts from spicy artists? check your moderation settings and your bsky filters if you haven't configured these before, many of these will be set to hide as defaults

Staff being able to apply an adult content label to an entire acct overrides the label function and is not a good thing. Do you know how many newcomers don't know that their default moderation settings hide us from view completely and they just assume we don't exist? This is shoving us out of sight

The bust in this ref has honestly bugged me since I finished it, but after 5 attempts it had felt the most accurate so I kept it. I've finally adjusted the proportions so they feel more right, and I think it's a good mental challenge to only edit part of a ref rather than redo the whole thing #ocsky
