Road safety agencies really don’t appreciate/understand the draught effect of air vortex destabilisation of a bike user. Forensic crash analysis will conclude that a rider simply fell off their bike with no impact from an overtaking vehicle, such as a semi-trailer rig.

It is utterly astonishing how many charities in Ireland are expected to fill the gaps in public provision. From schools relying on parents’ “voluntary contributions” to health services relying on any number of charities. It’s bonkers.

Of course, but what about more acute care facilities? With their own x-rays, radiologists etc NOT adding to the load of the hospital next door? We probably need more Acute Care facilities including 24hr ones.
