The very severe restrictions on the prescribing of medicinal cannabis really do need to be relaxed. Itâs only allowed for 3 particular conditions (MS, cancer, treatment-resistant epilepsy). Surely people with other painful conditions should also be given the option? US ahead of us on this.

The worldâs largest sand battery got through Finlandâs harshest winter in years. 2,000 tonnes of sand, heated to 500-600°C by cheap power, feeding district heating in Pornainen. And it worked. Result from one install: oil down 100%, emissions down 70%. Industrial process heat is the real prize.

In the ocean, humpback whales have surprised scientists with one of the strangest and kindest things seen in nature. When orcas, also known as killer whales, go hunting other sea animals like seals, sea lions, small dolphins, or even baby whales, humpback whales often arrive to stop the attack.

Sinn Fein are showing exactly what they always were; the whole 'transfer left' of 2020 and 'the north is next' in 2018 was just jumping on the bandwagon of the time. Look at what they have done and not done in the North-they are a roaring fucking disgrace

My Irish grandfather took this footage on a visit to family in 1932. It's possibly capturing the now-removed fishing village of Claddagh in Galway that had distinct thatched roof houses and their own elected king. It could also be Aran Islands (the girl on the donkey in particular). Or both?

Remember. The establishment parties NEVER WANTED to repeal the eighth. They had to be dragged kicking and screaming into it, and if they thought it would gain them votes, they would roll it back in a millisecond. The only way to safeguard it is to get them out, and keep them out, preferably forever.
