Hell yeah, Alex Garland directed four films — enough to get a Blank Check miniseries — and is taking a possibly permanent break from directing. Makes perfect sense to me. I’m not sure I know anyone who’s having a good time in this industry right now. To be clear, I LOVE the films he directed.
