I really wish I could say "I'm not available for the day because kojima made me sad with mgs 3" but that game only made me want to be a better editor/narrative designer. That game was PEAK god damn.

Good story, well crafted characters, and....crack. I look for that something that shows me you love your story, something that shows you aren't afraid to express your ideas, and that you're willing to be honest and vulnerable with your writing.

It would definitely be body horror. I fell in love with the topic a couple of years ago, so if I had to write a book, it would be about body horror as a reflection of the self.

Besides the nice escapism (sometimes), I love learning new perspectives, I love learning more about the author through their book, I love to see what style and conventions they use for a specific story. It's a way of communication, and I love to be on the receiving end.

You know those YA romance books that got really popular between 2010 and 2017....yeah those, most of those. Most of them wanted to portray the couple as romantic when in reality they were incredibly sexist and toxic; and most of the time the characters didn't even make sense.

Legend by Marie Lu ...ok here's the thing. I was very young and because the main characters were from different backgrounds, the story helped me realize some people have more privilege than others, and that usually the privilege is tied to their socioeconomic status. Book is pretty based.

I have to say...romance maybe? I don't hate it but I read a lot of romance during high school, so now if I read a romance book it has to be a GOOD romance book. The characters and the relationship have to feel like crack.
