It is extremely hard, especially on mobile where it takes up the whole first fucking screen, to not treat the AI result as the 'first correct result'. It requires discipline (for me, possibly others), but it's necessary. We had to do it for wikipedia, have to continue to do it for AI.

Something interesting that happened as I was writing my SGDQ and PUWP submissions was that my brain switched to a casual, but imaginative style, where I talked about the games in what they evoked emotionally, not just mechanically. Don't know if it's good or bad, but it was very observable.

I'll have to mull this over a lot, because for me, my bests are often sequences. Lufia 2 sets a high bar as a final sequence, from the moment you install the final engine, the game just hits and hits and hits all the way to the end. But just a single fight? Mmm.

I have a weird recurring dream... motif, let's say, where i am in a game mechanics structure that allows me to lunge. Except when I do, dream paralysis breaks and as I experience the lunge, I wake up. Its kinda wild.
