I was proud to open the debate for the Scottish Greens in my colleagues Mark Ruskell's Bill on ending greyhound racing in Scotland for good. The only way to protect these dogs is to end the practice entirely.

Last week I hosted a Parliamentary Drop-In alongside Blue Cross and Dogstrust to support a phased end to Greyhound Racing. Having recently met Cricket, an injured ex-racing greyhound It is clear to me that this is a system that can no longer be justified in the UK.
