🏥 The Health Secretary has outlined investment in community health hubs, with Port Glasgow being earmarked as one of the areas for the first phase of investment in these new hubs. 👏 This is consistent with the Budget earlier this year, showing delivery on that commitment.

It's #ScotlandLovesLocal Week, so I visited Vino by Tonino in Gourock on Monday. Everyone loves Tony's 🍕 so I was delighted to hear his 🍷 bar is also a hit! Inverclyde has so many unique food and drink vendors, but we must all do our bit to support them if we want them to stay & thrive.

The scenes in Greenock last night did not reflect a peaceful protest. This was a group of individuals intent on raising alarm, which is wholly unacceptable. People seeking to have their voice heard shouldn’t need to throw objects at police officers or vandalise police vans. 🧵 [1/4]

🚫 Whinhill Station should be step-free, but for several years now this path has been shut off. 🧑‍🦽‍➡️This is a huge issue for passengers with a mobility access issue, and the lack of engagement from @networkrail.bsky.social is not good enough.

Since joining Reform, Offord has tried to distance himself from the right-wing rhetoric we’ve come to associate with Nigel Farage’s party, but these comments show who he really is. Such comments should not be tolerated. He should be utterly ashamed. I hope voters kick Reform into touch on 7 May.

🗳️ A busy week in @parliament.scot for the final full week of chamber business. ☀️ Having spent several late nights in the chamber in recent weeks, it was great to get out this morning with Green Tangerine volunteers for a beach clean along Cove Road and the Battery Park.

💉People considering non‑surgical cosmetic treatments will now benefit from stronger safeguards. I first raised this in 2018, this is a growing industry, hence why we need measures in place to regulate it. 📖 Businesses will be able to access free guidance to help them adapt to the new requirements.

Last night MSPs voted to reject Liam McArthur’s Assisted Dying for Terminally Ill Adults (Scotland) Bill. No matter how I voted, I couldn't please everyone, but after much consideration, I chose to vote against the Bill. I did not make this decision lightly. Read my rationale here: bit.ly/4lJlShK
